Chapter 229: Back To That Key Moment ⑥
Shang Ke woke up in the morning and found that his flower pot was in Yan Lu’s embrace. This is not the first time. As long as he turns into a mushroom, Yan Lu will not leave his side as if worried that he will run away and is extremely insecure.
The flower pot was originally placed on the windowsill, but was later carried by Yan Lu to the bed. After talking about it several times, Shang Ke barely managed to persuade Yan Lu to put the flower pot on the bedside table. Even so, Yan Lu was still uneasy and often sneaked it into his arms while Shang Ke was cultivating. However, the flower pot was unevenly shaped, which made it difficult to hold and affected his sleeping posture.
Shang Ke was concerned about this. He spent a few days to find a thousand-year-old ironwood and carved it into a mushroom half a person tall. This kind of ironwood contains spiritual energy and will not decay for ten thousand years. It can nourish the body and mind, calm the mind and spirit, and is perfect for healing Yan Lu’s damaged spiritual body. Most importantly, mushrooms can grow on ironwood!
However, when Shang Ke saw Yan Lu hugging this giant mushroom, he always found the image a little too beautiful to look at and he couldn’t look straight at it.
“Uh, Yan Lu, I’ve been thinking, I’d better change the mushroom into a club.” Shang Ke said in a consultative tone.
Yan Lu nervously held the giant mushroom in his arms. He widened his eyes and silently protested. A club? Just the name alone tells him it’s not a good thing, how can it be better than his mushroom!
“…Fine, since you don’t agree, then forget it.” Shang Ke touched his nose. Seeing that Yan Lu liked it so much, he couldn’t help but joke, “With this big mushroom, you won’t end up not caring about me, this little mushroom would you?”
Yan Lu looked at the ironwood mushroom, then at Shang Ke. Then, he stuffed the ironwood mushroom into Shang Ke’s arms, closed in his arms and hugged the person along with the mushroom. He squeezed head into the middle of them and looked so happy.
Shang Ke: “…”
He already knew he was a mushroom-con, why did he still go and aggravate it…
That night, under Yan Lu’s eager gaze, Shang Ke planted himself on the ironwood mushroom. Then, he was embraced by Yan Lu in satisfiction, laid down on the bed, and would even roll about the bed sometimes.
Was he really that happy? Feeling his joy, Shang Ke couldn’t help but smile.
After keeping him company for a while, Shang Ke, under the nourishment of the ironwood’s spiritual energy, began his routined cultivation.
Yan Lu wrapped his arms and legs around the mushroom bolster and looked intently at the small mushroom close to him, his two dark eyes shining brightly in the darkness.
With the circulation of Shang Ke’s spiritual energy, a faint mist emerged from the little mushroom’s body, bringing a natural fragrance that lingered in Yan Lu’s nose and slowly blended into his breathing.
But after a while, an absentminded look faintly appeared on Yan Lu’s face. His eyes which were originally clear gradually dimmed, and finally turned into one of clarity. Through this clarity, there was a small white mushroom.
Yan Lu stared at “it” motionlessly, almost thinking that he was dreaming. More than a hundred years ago, the small mushroom disappeared in front of his eyes, and he became an evil god with his power. However, so what if he became a god? As long as there was the desire to kill in the heart, the righteous path can easily fall to the demonic path.
The little mushroom was his only beacon of kindness, and when he lost him, there was nothing left in the world that he cared about other than a never-ending desire to kill. His path to the god realm and his demonic heart got along with each other and clashed with each other, eventually leading to the backlash of his power and his delirium.
He had originally thought that this was his ultimate end. He did not expect the heavens to favor him, and his little mushroom has actually returned to him!
Yan Lu would not be mistaken, the small mushroom growing on the ironwood in front of him was the one he had lost. Judging by his current cultivation level, he has reached the level where he was able to transform. Maybe he has just been reincarnated. He actually thought that the little mushroom’s soul had already scattered, and wasted a lot of time immersing himself in hatred and grief.
“Little Mushroom…” Yan Lu’s deep voice echoed softly in the room, transforming into endless affection and joy which quietly hid into the hazy night.
Yan Lu stared at the little mushroom quietly just like that until dawn.
Shang Ke slowly woke up. A white light flashed and a young man’s figure landed lightly on the side of the bed. After casually putting on his clothes, he turned around to open the window, took in a deep breath of fresh air, then smiled at Yan Lu and said, “Good morning, Yan Lu.”
The familiar smile, face, and smell, like a ray of sunshine, instantly illuminated Yan Lu’s heart.
He had been wandering like a madman for decades, with the world’s cruelty, misery and uncertainty in his sight. It was his little mushroom that brought him back from his miserable state, not caring about his destitute, his foolishness, helping him wash away the dust and dirt and building him their home.
His cultivation has not yet reached the level for a full transformation. If not for him, why would he choose to practice for just a few hours every night?
Yan Lu walked up behind Shang Ke and hugged Shang Ke tightly in his embrace.
He didn’t manage to find him, but ended up being found by him.
Shang Ke fell into a full embrace and was about to tease Yan Lu when he felt a few drops of hot liquid fall on his collarbone.
“Yan Lu,” Shang Ke asked hesitantly, “What’s wrong?”
“Little Mushroom, I’m Yan Lu, I’m Yan Lu…” Yan Lu whispered in his ear.
Shang Ke’s movement paused. He turned around abruptly, held up Yan Lu’s face and asked in uncertainty, “Yan Lu, have you regained your senses?”
Yan Lu grabbed him by the waist and kissed him deeply. The superb kissing technique wasn’t something someone with five-year-old IQ can possess. Without a doubt, he had indeed regained his senses.
Shang Ke hugged his neck and responded to him with joy.
More than a hundred years of separation and more than a hundred years of longing exploded unreservedly at this moment. Yan Lu pressed Shang Ke against the wall, lifted his legs, and fit tightly into him. Their lips and tongues danced and their limbs entangled as if the two were devouring each other, claiming each other fiercely.
“Mmm.” Shang Ke let out a groan as he bore the pain of his body being forcibly expanded. Yan Lu’s movements were a little rough, but Shang Ke didn’t ask him to stop. Instead, he tried his best to relax and match Yan Lu’s rhythm. The pain was gradually replaced by waves of pleasure after repeated grinding.
After they had done it once, Yan Lu brought Shang Ke to the bed, warmly placating him and was extremely entangling. It was unknown how long they went on with it when Shang Ke suddenly felt himself being pulled up and placed into a sitting position. Yan Lu’s desire reached a deeper position, followed by vigorous and pure Yang energy.
Shang Ke looked at Yan Lu hazily with some confusion in his eyes.
“Currently, the gap between our cultivation level is too big. We can’t dual cultivate for now, but we can complement each other.” Yan Lu said softly, “My energy is in disorder. I have a body filled with divine energy, but I can’t use it rashly or it will cause a backlash. You, on the other hand, have an unstable foundation and urgently need to absorb spiritual energy. I will give you a little bit of my power to help you cultivate.”
Shang Ke pondered for a moment and asked with a frown, “Wouldn’t your cultivation be affected this way?”
“It’s okay, this can balance out the difference in our strengths.” Yan Lu said calmly, “Besides, the lower the cultivation, the easier it is to resolve the inner demon.”
Only then did Shang Ke remember that Yan Lu still had the threat of the inner demon, and lowering his cultivation might really help resolve it.
“Don’t think about it anymore, leave everything to me.” Yan Lu nibbled his ear affectionately while moving his lower body slowly and rhythmically. With each movement, a stream of divine energy entered Shang Ke’s body.
Shang Ke closed his eyes and began concentrating on fusing this divine power.
Yan Lu gave him his power while gazing at him quietly, as if he would never get tired of looking at him…
It was unknown how long had passed. Shang Ke felt that he only needed to continue for one more round and he would be able to gain a successful harvest. However, just when he was ready to do the finishing up, the last wave of divine energy never came.
Shang Ke couldn’t help but open his eyes, only to see Yan Lu in front of him staring at him blankly. The clarity in his eyes is gone and was replaced by silly ignorance.
So, has he lost his senses again?
“Little Mushroom?” Yan Lu looked down at the tightly connected parts of the two of them, his eyes full of curiosity.
“…I accidentally sat on you, sorry.” Shang Ke explained as casually as possible.
Yan Lu felt it and said, “It’s okay, Little Mushroom is very comfortable.”
Shang Ke believed that Yan Lu’s words definitely didn’t have a double meaning.
“Since you have felt enough comfort, get up.” After saying so, Shang Ke started getting up. However, Yan Lu reached out and pulled him down, causing him to sit back down heavily.
“Little Mushroom.” Yan Lu’s voice was slightly hoarse.
“What?” Please be sure to keep your innocence!
“It’s really comfortable…” Yan Lu rubbed upwards stickily.
Shang Ke tried his best to restrain himself: “…Stop messing around.” Let go of your Little Mushroom and we can still be good (pot) friends.
“Oh.” Yan Lu withdrew in disappointment. With his standing desire, Yan Lu sat on his knees in front of Shang Ke with moistened eyes, looking very much like a tamed wolf.
When did this guy become so obedient? Those shining eyes really make people’s heart itch!
Shang Ke inner angel and demon fought for a very long time before finally decided to pounce on Yan Lu without hesitation.
“Lay flat!” Shang Ke commanded.
Yan Lu lay flat on his back obediently.
Shang Ke straddled him and said menacingly, “You’re not allowed to move. I’ll do it myself.”
Yan Lu nodded.
Shang Ke slowly took it into his body, then began to move his waist, rubbing it carefully.
Yan Lu’s body was tense and his eyes were hot as if he was trying to suppress something.
Shang Ke bent down and gently rubbed his lips…
A moment later, Shang Ke collapsed on top of Yan Lu and said with a weak breath, “I can’t do it anymore, you settle it yourself.”
For a full hour, a certain someone had absolutely no intention to release at all!
All Shang Ke felt was his back ache and his numb legs. He never wanted to sit on top again!
A soft laugh suddenly sounded from above his head.
Shang Ke looked up only to see that Yan Lu’s eyes were clear and the corners of his mouth were lifted. It seems that he had recovered his senses.
“When did you regain your senses?”
“Hmml, not long after you sat on me.”
Shang Ke first widened. Then, he gritted his teeth: You sure could hold it in, Lord God.
Yan Lu kissed his face and placated him, “You’ve worked hard, my little mushroom.”
Nope, not, at, all!
Yan Lu was about to continue staying warm with him for a little longer, but saw that Shang Ke suddenly picked up the ironwood mushroom from the corner of the bed and shoved it into his arms.
“Take your mushroom and go play with it.” Shang Ke agiley rolled over and got out of bed.
A certain Yan person who regained his senses completely lost the vibe which made people pity him.
“What?” Shang Ke stared at him viciously.
Yan Lu hugged his big mushroom and looked at him pitifully, “Are you angry?”
He became silly again? Can you give me a heads-up before your next transformation?
“… No, I’m not angry.” After being given that look, Shang Ke compromised again without principle.
“That’s good.” Yan Lu rested his head on the big mushroom and smiled happily.
Shang Ke finally realized a serious problem—Yan Lu has a split personality.
